    Default Moving Averages

Moving averages are among the most used indicators, and any expert trader will have it on his/her chart, why? Because they have multi-uses and are simple and effective, 3 major types of MAs are known: simple - exponential - smoothed.
If you want my opinion "exponential" is the most reliable and effective one as it represents the current condition of the market as it is affected with the recent prices

I agree that the trader who seriously follows the Moving averages can have an edge in trading as they are like dynamic support & resistance levels and enable a trader to set up Stops and Targets with long term moving average which moves slowly.

Weighted moving average, the most recent data value more quickly than
the data. Weighted moving average is calculated for the cost of multiplying
weight factor for each count is close.
